Tired of Alibaba And The Forty Thieves, Tryout Dhgate

by Garen Arnold 7/28/09

dhgate Interested in purchasing from a respectable b2b network? Let’s face it you can make a killing in the Asian market. If you are like me, you may have found that some of these b2b networks are corrupt (Alibaba). I have recently, tried Alibaba, but I was ripped off for 8,000 USD. I know lots, of other people have tried them out, and been left out in the cold. Alibaba even seems to welcome scammers, and will even give anyone a “Trust Pass” for a small fee. The Asian market is simply not profitable if you are getting conned out of your money.

If you are like me, and many others, then maybe you should consider the alternative to Alibaba. Allow me to explain what I like about www.dhgate.com , its’ competitor.

First, their payments are always secure. You can use Paypal to complete your purchases. You can pay unsecure ways, but why would you? Another, great added perk, is that you can always file a claim against someone at dhgate.com. You even have the option to escalate your claim, like at Paypal. (not just one Paypal, you can do it while on their site. This is something that is lacking at Alibaba. There (Dhgate) level of trust seems to be superior to their competitors.

Dhgate Seems To Be A Better B2B Site

Their mission is as follows:

1. To be a one-stop, customized end-to-end trade solution provider serving international buyers.
2. To establish a round-the clock e-marketplace that is transparent, automatic and collaborative.
3. To offer cost-effective trade services by leveraging the latest e-commerce technologies and integrating trade channels.
4. To maximize our international buyer’s profitability and competitiveness.

But, what we really like about Dhgate is that they’re structured similar to eBay. They simply operate using an evaluation system, which is very important to it’s infrastructure. You simply rate your supplier with a feedback, positive or negative. (also, you can write a short comment on the transaction.) All and all, I am very pleased with Dhgate.com. They seem to be a lot more secure, and their infrastructure is certainly superior to its’ competitors.
