E-mail Scams. One common email scam is contacting you (usually if you are business owner.)  They will then try to pay you with a stolen credit card.  They usually want to pay with Western Union.  Never use Western Union or any other unsecure money transfer.  They will receive their product and the bank will notify you of the issue.

Guaranteed Loans. There are many ways this scam can be presented to a victim, however, the outcome is usually constant. They offer home equity loans, that  require zero equity on your home, or personal loans despite of your credit score, age, and job status. You will then have to pay an application fee.  However, your application will be denied. Typically you will not hear from them.  They have presented themselves to help you and now have your money.
