Ever gotten an email from eBay requiring that you enter your account information, again. Or possibly have you gotten an email asking for extra information, so that your account does not get terminated. These emails may look convincing, which are even included with the eBay logo, as well as their User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
However, one of the red flags is eBay will NEVER ask for your information. Also, these types of emails are directed to you using sir or mam. Also, they will have links in the email in which you are required to click on. However, do not click them, because they have been to known to release Trojans onto your computer.
All and all ignore emails from eBay requiring you to enter your personal information.
