Future home-buyers need to be cautious of variety of real estate scams floating around on the internet. These scams are simple, refinancing scams that commonly acquire your personal information, by a method called phishing.
For those that are new to phishing; phishing is acquiring personal information via e-mail to steal your information. These scams will typically send you an e-mail that provides you with a great offer on getting a loan for a house. However, there is a catch; you will always receive an e-mail for the scammer telling you that you did not meet the minimum requirements for their service.
These scammers get your e-mail address from crooked internet marketing businesses. I would be cautious when giving any personal information out on the internet; especially an e-mail for home buyers.
