Another classic example of a scammer on Alibaba.com. I would have to agree that 99% of the “wholesalers” from China, selling name brand electronics are scammers. There are simply way to many holes in Alibaba.com’s system. They need to install a rating system, like eBay to insure people that companies are legit.

As to “99% of the “wholesalers” from China, selling name brand electronics are scammers” ,I don’t agree ,there do exist a number of scammers in China not only on Alibaba ,but there are more legal business men in China ,as you know ,China has a large population .

I will be conducting a report to see how many of these Chinese scam wholesalers that sell electronics are real. However, I do realize that the population is huge in China; I have yet to find a good Alibaba.com electronics wholesaler. XIN NET owned about 700+ fake sites and most of them are ran under Alibaba.com. They take up a big chuck of the scam population on Alibaba.

Of course I know that there are thousands of honest and reliable suppliers in China, with whom you may contact and establish a trustfull longterm businessrelationship. But not in name brand electronic products !!! Tell me please what is wrong here ? I hope you do not mean, that those Chinese fake brand selling companies are legal ? :-) I think you didn’t understand the main thing..

There are thousands of legit wholesalers that sell electronics, but not on alibaba.com. At any given time I could search for an expensive “brand name” electronics and I would get a price list. They would only accept non secure payments too. I will be doing a case study just to show what I mean within the next couple weeks.

Though alibaba.com is famous, it’s impossible for it to control the quality of suppliers. That’s the bad side of all b2b portals, I think. In other words, that alibaba.com is good doesn’t guarantee that its registered suppliers deserve the same degree of trustworthiness.
