Hey guys and girls,
Got an update on them about contacting them:

I’m not sure if their number is still working. You can check +18886519818, tried to dial it but I think I have problems with skype connection at that time. Another number is +180011160918, just searched it on the net. Lastly, +18009340785 – this is one of the numbers I saw in the comments about how to address the scam issues, sam # in prosuin log in. The call was even routed here in the Philippines & I even spoke with a Filipina CSR, they asked for my client # & any other info but can’t pull up the account, She did not mention what account is she handling (that’s usual if received calls from non clients in call centers) but claims not handling Profit Profusion.

I have had to close my bank account in the past as well as close debit cards so that no more fees could be charged to my account by scammers. I strongly suggest that those in South Africa and anywhere else in the world when this is happening to have their account frozen. This maybe a hard decision to make but needed if you desire to stop funds from going out of your account. There is a book out called ‘Scammers Among Us Beware’ on Amazon.com which has a lot of info for individuals and businesses. It is a how to, how not to, what to do if, and who to contact if. Check it out for it just might save you and yours your bankroll. Thank you.

I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the services you’ve been receiving from our company. There are no commitments with the free product you ordered however there are bonus free trial periods to membership websites that accompany the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated several times throughout the ordering process – on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and the thank you email. It is then also explained in the first paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. We offer the trial periods to give our clients a chance to use the services and see the value of them for themselves before they are billed for them. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days from the order date depending on which bonuses apply and we would not have charged you had you called customer service and canceled during the trial period as it is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer ends.

The following disclosure is directly from the website your ordered from and can be found on both the order and thank you pages:
By submitting this form you are ordering the Google Profusion Kit and Profit Profusion Membership. You will be billed three dollars and eighty eight cents for the Google Profusion Kit and given a 3-day trial to ProfitProfusion.com. After your trial period you will be billed fifty nine dollars and ninety five cents ($59.95)per month allowing you to get up to the minute tips for your business.
You will also receive a free 7-day trial to Rebate Millionaire and a free 14-day trial to Network Agenda. After the trial period, you will be charged $19.95 and $9.95 a month thereafter, if you choose not to cancel. Cancel any time by calling 800-934-0785. View full terms & conditions.

Using the information you have provided, I have been able to locate your account and all of our programs (as listed above) were canceled per your request. The charge of $69 you have mentioned is not a charge from our company and it is not a substitute for the $1.88 s&h. You will need to contact the customer service # showing next to that charge for assistance from that company.

If you are another customer that is reading this and you have already tried customer service, but feel that we have failed you in some way or you feel you weren’t treated fairly please call me directly at 435-773-1795, or email me at customerservice@cshelp.org, I will be happy to address your concerns ASAP.

Sincerely,
Online Customer Support

You got it in tiny type! I have gotten over 200+ complaints on you. You don’t respond to people emails or answer your phone anymore. You are featured on Scams.com, Ripoff Report, ect.

There scam is being listed here too:

Here is an ad that I clicked on facebook that says “Become a Fashion Buyer” Link: http://bizsuccessblogs.com/rosariobautista/blog/?t202id=93221&t202kw=FBph-9 and on that page, there’s a link to the Google Profusion order page: http://www.googleprofusion.com/01/?a_aid=4a95af22df371&a_bid=755dc33f&ref=fgdf&data1=60889&data2=2040510 I signed up, but when I saw that I have to pay with my credit card, I didn’t continue to order the kit. Then I googled “Google Profusion” and saw your website, so now I’m reporting it. Thank you.

Hi Garen

I too ordered the Google Profusion via a link on Facebook. What is disturbing is the ad was from a South African(bizsuccessblogs.com). I assume this person does not know of the scam, I dont know. When I ordered the kit, R28.28 went off my account together with an amount of R445.07 (reflected JMH Media)

NOBODY at Google Profusion could provide me with an answer as to why the R445.07 was deducted. They gave me a number 0800 981 427 and you don’t get through. The phone rings and then disconnects.

Luckily I have immediately informed my bank and they stopped the authorisation. Google Profusion was adamant that they only deducted the R28.08 from my account.

I hope this helps and thanks for detecting this.

On a last note, please check this site as well, not sure if it is a scam but I know the beneficiary (Swanepoel) has tons of ads even on gumtree about the same thing (113.cashin7days.za7.co.za)

Regards,

Garren,

I also have been the victim of Profusion. I tried to fill up the order form and unluckily there is an error regarding the bank code and yet they deducted me P2802.00 from my savings account together with an amount of US 3.88 (reflected JMH Media). I am so disappointed and depressed of what is happening in this site (http://bizsuccessblogs.com/rosariobautista/blog/?t202id=93221&t202kw=FBph-9). They are not helping people. They collect and collect payments even if the application form isn’t completed. I have worked on that amount and save for future purposes.

Please attend to this matter as soon as possible and ensure that all accounts are cancelled and that no monies are debited forthwith.

I hope that they refund all of my money.

Hi Garen,

I have also been caught by these scamers.I ordered their kit at 1.88 US dollar but they billed me R442.00 more. Fortunate enough I read about them and ordered my bank to block my credit card.

I am waiting to close my account with them at 09h00 EST, at they said they open through their answering matchine.

Thank you for your help.

I find the sheer number of scams online really disturbing. I have tried dozens of these schemes trying to find something legitimate but 99.9/100 are scams or wild exaggerations. I think that South Africans are now being targeted because our internet use is growing rapidly but overall we are still a country of internet newbies. In my opinion a few things to remember and look for are:
The promise of ridiculous money made part time. If you were earning R12 000 a week working 6-8 hrs would you still have a day job?
Pay per click sites offering more than a cent or two per click are likely to be scams. Those offering a dollar or more per click are definitely scams.
Online surveys will NOT make you any money.
Cash gifting does not work.
There are many more but this is not my blog (good blog by the way).
In short, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is. Always Google search opportunities before parting with your hard earned cash. Just Google the opportunity name followed by the word scam.
There are legitimate ways to earn online but it is not easy and it usually requires quite a lot of work. Learn more about internet marketing and invest in yourself, not others.
Thanks for the opportunity to post comments.

Kind of the reason I started this site ;(. I freelance from home. People always target the work-at-home community. Don’t make impulse buys online, when looking to make money, chances are they are to good to be true.
