Extra Information: This con artist goes by the name Joan. Their e-mail address is dealstead@hotmail.com. Upon doing additional research I have found that they have ripped lots of people off at www.alibaba.com. Thier name on Alibaba is Shenzhen Southern Kingding Electronic Ltd. They seem to act as a couple companies giving you different price list. The lowest price will always be dealstead.com until someone catches on to their scam.
This company has ripped me off for 1,000 dollars. I was contacted by them using www.alibaba.com. I was interested in buying 5 Samsung GPS phones. They stated that they could do it for $200 a piece. (the Samsung phones were worth well over $500.) They provided me with tracking and every thing which was supposed to be shipped out using a Chinese carrier. The tracking worked great and the package was shipped out and I received it in less than 2 weeks.
However, when I got the package it was 2 Mobiado Professinal 105. These are the Rolex of cell phones. They provided me with a phony packing slip that stated it was to be shipped to someone in Brazil. I later found out that these phones were fake and did not work right. Every time I contacted them they would just say they don not know what happen and they will contact me. Finally, they told me to sell the phones and they would give me something free on my next order.
That right there was enough for me. I checked around and found out that many people had been ripped off by them. They take your money with Western Union and then send you replica stuff and send you the wrong packing list. Ever since then they ignore all my e-mails.
The second report:
I am a member at alibaba.com and I had an inquiry on purchasing USB flash drives. I wanted to get them in bulk because they are cheaper that way. I have sent a private message to a seller, and I asked for a price on the different sizes of USB flash drive. For example, 1 G.B., 2 G.B., and so on. A little while later I received a reply from www.dealstead.com with what I thought was a good price list. (This was strange because I sent a message to another seller, but I received the reply from dealstead.com!!!???)
However, I thought this site was correct because it was presented after my request. I ordered 22 USB flash drives and the person at dealstead.com (Ms. Joan) said that they will send 26 USB flash drives for the same price. This would be 4 flash drives as a gift, for their company celebrating their anniversary.
I paid 292 USD by Western Union and Joan sent me a tracking number and it was: EE063285803CN. It turns out it was a false number. So I e-mailed Joan and told her it did not work. She replied with another tracking number: EE062652205CN, that too was false.
This scammer (Joan) is a liar and was very rude. I sent a lot of emails to alibaba.com about this scammer, and I asked, Why the scammers can read the private message from members. Don not you think alibaba.com is not to secure? Also, I reported it to the police.
I would like to publish my story on www.report-online-scams.com to prevent other people from being cheated out of their money.
