www.sz-xinglong.com
Shenzhen Xinglong Electronic Co., Ltd.

Sz-xinglongExtra information: Uses the name “Elle” for their contact on yahoo instant messaging. Their e-mail is xinglong-sz@hotmail.com. (also that is their yahoo messaging name) They are located in China and say they have been in business for 8 years. However, their site has only been up a couple months. They have over 700 other domains which I suspect to be fake businesses. They seem to jump around from scam to scam.

I have been a victim of a scam that has cost my business 8K. Let me explain how it happen so that no one makes the same mistake I made. First, I run a business on eBay selling all kinds of stuff. I had this great idea to get in contact with a company through www.alibaba.com (which is a business to business site.) I had this plan of spending 2K to buy some digital SLRs camera lenses. I asked around and finally got in contact with a distributor (or what I thought was a distributor.) They e-mailed me with these price list, which I thought I could make a good profit.

I quickly posted 10 of them on eBay and they sold from anywhere from 550-625 each. They were only costing me 200 a piece. I thought this was great and the scammer agreed to mail them to my customers. I also had a couple mailed to me in case I needed to replace a couple I would have them on hand. I wired the scammer 2K with Western Union. Biggest mistake of my life! Well I waited for 2 days and got tracking on all my packages. However, the tracking did not work for 12 days. Some of my customers tracking never did work. I felt bad that everyone had to wait so I gave everyone $50 back each (total of $400). Eventually, the packages did arrive to some of my customers but they were fake iPhones.

I realize that everyone makes mistakes and did not want to jump to any conclusions. I e-mailed the scammer and they would tell me that they were working on it. Finally, my lenses had arrived. Or what I thought were my lenses. They turned out to be 4 iPod nanos that were so fake it is not even funny.

I became angry with the scammer. I simply asked for a refund and had all my prior customers fake iPhones sent to me. When I got them I realized that they all had wrong packing list to make them appear to look like they were packaged wrong. They all had the same packing list, which I immediately knew was a huge scam.

I would write the scammer but they would ignore my messages. They even had a live help, which I used to talk to them on yahoo instant messaging, but they would just sign off when I would message them.

At this point I knew I would not ever get in contact with them. I also design web pages so I e-mailed them from a different e-mail posing as a big shot that needed to purchase 200 laptops. Bam, I got a response the next morning. They sent me a price list and were more than happy to take my money.

I have contacted the FBI, Federal Trade Commission, and Local Police Department. I have refunded everyone 8K out of my pocket. I know that I will probably never see that money again.

Now, I have gotten a lot of emails regarding how do I get the figures that I had lost 8k. Well, at the time I was buying and selling xbox 360′s in bulk. I had a lot of my money tied up in these 360′s and was planning on not paying all that money back. Believe me the people were pissed at me, too. I took a lot of heat for this. However, when everyone starts getting broken iPhones you are liable for it, which I understand. I am seller and should be able to deliver the products. Again, maybe wasn’t the smartest move on my part, but I did refund everyone.

So learn from my mistakes and don’t ever do what I did it is not worth it.
